maybe this makes me shallow, but i really like going to the bar, just because i like being approached by random guys. no, i'm not going home with you, but eh, you made my night a little better.

I love being approached by random guys, it just makes you feel good in a weird way, even though I would never consider going out with them.

As a guy, I can relate. Except I never really go "on the prowl" in bars; if I go out, it's to meet with people that I know or attend to other business that I have with the place; and I don't have the same confidence that I wouldn't be susceptible to the flirtation of an attractive stranger. :-J
