Compliment

I'm not sure if you realize how much I needed to hear that. Thank you.

She's so difficult to compliment. If I call her beautiful, say she's amazing, funny, or even a general compliment like "You're awesome", she bats it away immediately.

The only compliments she accepts are "I love you" and "You make me happy". And those aren't so much compliments as statements of fact.
