Criticism

I'm so tired of always being criticized for stupid things. I mention that I really like something, and automatically my friend says that it is dumb. I mention that I don't like something, and she makes some comment about my lack of real taste for whatever it is. It really annoys me. Just because I don't find something amusing doesn't make me wrong. Just because I don't laugh when a tv show has curse words every other word and makes fun of religion doesn't make me stupid. I mean, I don't comment on how much I wish she wouldn't watch stuff like that on my tv, I don't say how much I hate things like that, because I know that she likes it and that it is her prerogative to watch whatever she wants. I respect that we have different tastes. I just wish that she would too.
