Reunion

There is something magical about hugging a person who has finally returned after a long absence.

I put my arms around his waist, holding him tightly as he hugged me around my neck and shoulders. My head found that warm familiar spot on his chest. It felt like he had never left.

It's moments like this that I know some friends just fit.
