Every story has 1 beginning and 1 ending. The only thing you can open and close are chapters. I worry that people try so hard to close chapters in their lives then rip out the pages that they don't realize the damage they are doing. When they try to rip out pages, they loose the good with the bad and the good , is often what motivated them to start that next chapter. They leave jagged page endges, scars of sorts. They weaken the binding. The create discontinuity in the story line. They leave the the book of their life mamed, all for the sake of hiding a chapter. My recommendation : Learn from it, own it, enjoy that you are who you are, in some part , because of that chapter.
