I saw a news article recently that referred to a certain demographic of people as "pro-2nd-amendment advocates", and the phrasing sounded so weird to me. They're gun fans. They like guns. And having guns. And being able to get guns. That's it. They're not defenders in any real sense of 230-year-old settled constitutional law. They're just people who think guns are cool. You wouldn't call alcoholics "pro-21st-amendment advocates".
