Distraction

I get distracted by pretty things while driving way too easily. If there's a full moon, I'll have to make a conscious effort not to stare at it. If it's freezing and my windshield's dirty, I have trouble not getting transfixed by the ice crystals slowly creeping across it after I use my wiper fluid to clean it off.

If I distract myself from feeling like shit, am I distracting myself from the path to the person I want to be? Or is the feeling itself a distraction from the person I am already okay with being?
