Glasses

I wear sunglasses because I hate to squint in the sun. I wear sunglasses because my neurotic need to be on guard 24/7 makes my eyes dart to every sound and moving object nearby to assess its threat, and I'd rather not come off as a psycho to people.

I always take my glasses off when I'm talking with people, though, even if it's only for a moment. I feel like it's rude to talk to someone from behind sunglasses.

Which isn't to say that I feel like I'm being disrespected when other people are wearing sunglasses and talking to me. I just personally feel uncomfortable not showing someone my eyes when I'm talking with them.

those dorky glasses make you so adorable. The moment i saw you, i hoped you weren't one of those mean punk guys who only dates posers.
