It's always conditional, isn't it? I think we all have our breaking point where we just can't go on with someone, no matter how much they mean to us. Those who manage to stay together for their whole lives...it has as much to do with luck as with anything.

But dammit if I haven't seen so many humans trying their damnedest and honestly trying to achieve it.

Finding someone to share a high for a few years, a few months or even just one night is easy.

Finding someone who comes as close to unconditional love as humans can get...that's what getting lucky is.

The sad truth is; however, that the odds are against us no matter how well you play your cards.
