Text

A new skill that people are developing for the first time in history is "reading text and automatically translating weird word choices into the word that the person actually said when their voice-to-text application misinterpreted them".

You could probably create a whole indecipherable code based on that. A sentence that makes zero sense until you read it aloud and mumble a bit, then parse the speech instead of the text. It could be the new Cockney rhyming slang.

Wait, no, shit, this is already a thing. It's a board game called Mad Gab.

And, turns out, this was an idea already explored in the 1940s by Howard L. Chance. He called it "The Anguish Languish", and he re-wrote Little Red Riding Hood into a brain-rending translation called "Ladle Rat Rotten Hut".
