I'm such a sucker for a well-spoken person. always wished I'd have a poet to write me elegant, heartfelt little poems to leave by my bed for my waking.
well, I got the heartfelt at least.
...and yet, it seems somehow more sincere in plain words and chicken-scratch on old lined paper than the most eloquent poetry on the finest parchment ever could.

It's just that the first time I read that, I thought you wrote "always wished I'd have a poet to write me elegant, heartfelt little poems to leave by my bed for my wanking".
It kind of made sense in the context of your thought, too.

I do get dirty little stories sometimes too, but those are much more fun to listen to while we're both in bed rather than just read.
