Freakshow

I don't have much of a family, or an ethnicity, or much of an identification with my gender, or a favorite sports team, or religion, or a sense of identity from my country of origin. There's only one group that I've ever felt like I truly belonged to. And goddamn it, is it a religious experience every time I can spend a night bonding with my freakish soulmates. As much as I cling to the loner lifestyle, I can't spend a moment with these people without feeling like I'd do anything to spend the rest of my life in their company. There's something profoundly right about me being part of this crowd. *sigh*
