I just called Finger Eleven out on going from not-quite-nu-metal to generic-ass post-grunge. They used to be my favorite band--about five or six years ago, right before One Thing came out--until they decided that their fans didn't matter anymore if they could have Seether's. Anyway, I don't think they're gonna pay my suggestion any mind because the make more money now, but it at least lifted a weight that's been on my chest since their last album. Come to think of it though I barely even listen to "hard rock" anymore, in any of its forms. I'll probably still pirate their new album though, because if I am full of anything it's hope.
