Grind

I can tell you're asleep because the grinding of your teeth is audible over the movie playing from your laptop. The only time you seem relaxed in your sleep is when you're leaving something behind and can for a time, however brief, pretend that the next place has something to hope for. I hope that if you leave here without me, you find it. At least for a while. I hope you can feel love again before you give up. I hope you find something honest, and I hope that, when it benefits you to know, you know how much I love you.
