This stupid damn three word phrase. And all the restrictions placed on it by useless folkways. We can't say it to someone we genuinely care about, unless we're dating them. We can't say it to someone who used to be a lover, and is now just a close friend. We can't say it after it's over, even though love doesn't stop at that point. It may have before, but if it hasn't, it's not going to immediately. But we can't say it. We say "Take care of yourself." We say "Please call me." We say "I'll talk to you later." Or something far more vile.
