Outofmatches

Drinking cheap champagne in a re-used plastic cup, reminiscent of longer days when time more quickly passed. Now I'm striking matches just to watch them burn & to mask the stench of loneliness and clean sheets. Toasting myself -- Here's to me! For keeping it together one more day, until i can pick up where i left off on that lost prophetic dream. Starting to think that maybe I'm only sleeping not to scream...
