Whisperinthenight

i hear you whisper in the dark. at three AM when i should be asleep. i feel your hands smooth down my back. i taste your kiss. the smell of mens cologune and cigarettes lingers in my nose. i reach out to pull you close. i find that i am alone. clutching a pillow to my chest i search my dreams for you. in the morning i wake feeling lost. how i hate those lying whispers in the night.
