Ok, so I have two accounts on Ether. This one, and another that is completely anonymous. I find it really interesting that my other account is the one that most people comment on. Proportionally, my other account has a lot more comments. I was wondering why that is and I think it's because of how honest I am on my other one. I'm honest on this one too, but there are things that I would never say out loud, things that I don't even want to think about on my other account. I think there is a part of all of us that recognizes that pure, uncomfortable truth. We all have our own unmentionable secrets, and there is something within us that sees when someone is confessing one of their darkest secrets, and it compels us to say something.
Moral of the story:
If there are people that know who you are on here, I think you should get another account. That way you are still able to get things off your chest that you don't want them to know about.
Yeah, I do that too. I've always suspected that that wasn't an uncommon thing around here. You get to tweak the level of anonymity behind each post that way.
I don't keep multiple accounts here, because I really don't care if people know who I am.
Then again, I don't think I've actually posted any words here, just comments - and only a few.
Also, I would like to point out that if someone really, really wants to know, it's possible to find out which accounts are from the same people.
It would be an awful lot of work though.
Eh, no such thing as anonymity.
Damn, I thought I was so sneaky.
